The A73001803 Ballast Kit is intended for use during routine maintenance of the Edwards XDS35i / 46i / 100B dry scroll vacuum pump. The gas ballast system assists in maintaining stable pumping performance by reducing the risk of condensation within the pump. Over extended operating periods, wear or deterioration of ballast components may occur. Replacement of these components at the recommended service interval helps maintain correct gas ballast function and supports continued reliable operation of the pump. This kit contains the control knob, springs, NRV plug, insert, and o-rings. Follow the procedures described in the relevant instruction manual when carrying out maintenance.
