Dry Claw Pumps

Dry claw vacuum pumps are positive displacement pumps that use two claw-shaped rotors to trap and compress gas to create a vacuum. They are oil-free, low maintenance, and can operate continuously without experiencing wear and tear. EDP Dry Pumps

The Edwards DP, DPS and EDP series pumps offer a clean and robust pumping solution for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Using a unique, patented non contacting reverse claw mechanism, the DP, DPS EDP series pumps create an oil free vacuum, preventing contamination of the process stream. These pumps are highly tolerant to liquids and particles in the gas stream and are capable of operating from atmosphere to ultimate pressure. In addition, an indirect cooling system prevents chemical reactions within the pump.

EDP400

EDP pumps are based on Edwards’ oil-free, non-contacting, award-winning, reverse claw mechanism. They provide consistent vacuum at high efficiencies and low costs of ownership. Dry pumps completely eliminate all problems of process contamination and creation of polluted effluent, which are experienced with traditional wet vacuum pump technologies.
